High Impedance Non Intrusive ADSL/ADSL2/ADSL2+ Analyser



 

 

The XDSL NIVA is a real time, high impedance and non intrusive ADSL/ADSL2/ADSL2+ analyser that allows you to perform deep expertise of XDSL interoperability issues.

The XDSL NIVA provides a complete overview of ADSL line physical parameters and a deep decoding of protocol exchanges between the Modems (ATU-R / CPE) and DSLAMs (ATU-C / CO) in real time and high impedance without disturbing the installation..

The decoded protocols concern the ADSL (G.994 / G.922.1 G.922.3 G.992.5) physical layers, the ATM (cellules EOC / OAM) layers as well as the IP applicative protocols thanks to a data extraction in Pcap format.

The XDSL NIVA protocol analyser relies on an efficient hardware architecture made of an high impedance probe, an high speed acquisition board and a PC platform allowing to implement advanced technics of the signal processing.

Complete and easy to use, XDSL NIVA is the adequate tool for the development, qualifying and the compatibility tests of XDSL accesses and equipments.

The XDSL NIVA is especially studied for operators and manufacturers of telecommunication equipment laboratories as well as for the certification laboratories.

 

 

Detailed analysis of exchanges between modem and real-time DSLAM with an accurate timestamping of the messages exchanged. G.994.1 analysis including the complete decoding of messages and their parameters combined with a validity control.

 

Handshake G.992.1 / G.992.3 / G.992.5 phase analysis with an exhaustive decoding of all messages.

 

Synthesis table including the bit allocation table, the upstream and downstream throughput measurement, the attenuation and S/B ratio measurements.

 

 

 

Spectrum analysis : for each frequency the power level is displayed in real-time allowing to understand the modem / DSLAM pair functioning.

At any moment it is possible to save the data corresponding with the displaying screen by a simple clic.

 

Capture and analysis of ATM maintenance cells: EOC et OAM

 

The PCAP extraction functionality allows to filter an application through a VP/VCI pair. Then an analysis of applicative layers can be launched directly from the Ethereal software or from any analysis software complying with this format.
