PSTN
network is still evolving offering more and more supplementary
services as CID (Caller ID) and SMS (Short Message Service).Terminal
equipment have to be checked according to the ETSI standards.
DESC and GAMI are two network simulators allowing
you to emulate the PSTN access and to send data thanks to FSK
modulation in order to test those new terminal equipment.
A programmable telephone interface gives the user control over
various parameters including tone, FSK and ring levels, DTMF
selection and line polarity.
DESC : dedicated to the labs DESC allows
you to define your test sequences thanks to an intuitive PC
software and to validate your terminal equipment.
GAMI : is a simulator that one programmed
can be used without any PC. Thanks to eight buttons you can
execute all your test scripts defined on a PC software.
