requirements
The ISDN installation can be done in several steps
:
1. installation / cabling of all the technical
infrastruture (wiring, NT1 …),
2. commissioning including the configuration
of the equipment, connection and functional testing,
3. maintenance and troubleshooting.
Test equipment have to allow the user to check the conformance
of the ISDN installation according to standard and quality requirements.
For commisionning and maintenance phases it is required also
to be able to check the equipment configuration and to lay the
emphasis upon on the potential troubles of the line.
Test equipment have then to provide the capabilities to completely check the ISDN line conformity according to availibility, services and transmission quality.
